Peg solitaire is a somewhat annoying game. Add the frustration of having no opponent to blame for your shortcomings, this brain teaser has been a source of wasted hours in my family for generations. You can have a go at the game yourself below, and I'm sure you will agree.
The game is currently under development, and it may or may not be in working conditation at any one time.
The goal is to leave only a single peg, placed in the hole with golden circle.
Pegs move by jumping over a neighbouring peg, and must land in an empty hole.
A peg is removed when another peg jumps over it.
Jump over pegs and remove them, until there is only one peg left - placed in the golden cirle.
You can only pick up pegs that can be moved.
The round arrow button goes back a single move.
My development Plan: I will make the game, polish it a bit and then make a button for trying every single combination while showing it in some fancy way. After that, I hope to use that mechanism to generate a large amount of data on the game, that could be used for machine learning the game. If I'm honest with myself, I mostly want to beat the game, so I don't know how far I will go with it.
